About Alexandra Palmer, MD

Alex Palmer studied psychology at Pomona College and then worked as a Community Residence Counselor and a Clinician Educator at McLean’s Gunderson Residence prior to attending medical school at University of Massachusetts. She has done research on attachment theory and parent-child relationships, and she is particularly interested in treating young adults with personality disorders. She is also interested in family work, embarking on additional research about expressed emotion in families of children with neurodevelopmental disorders. She enjoys watching old crime shows and thrillers, as well as running and hiking.
