About Adriana Cantos, MD

Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine

Adriana Cantos was born in Ecuador and move to the United States as a child. She attended the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate degree, where she majored in Neuroscience and Behavior. She attended medical school at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. During medical school, she served as co-president of the Latino Medical Student Association and was involved in advocacy work on Capitol Hill related to immigration reform. She has also conducted health disparities research and helped co-develop and implement a new medical Spanish course for beginners. Outside of medicine, Adriana enjoys basketball, succulent plant propagation, and dancing hip-hop!
